Game rules
Predict the selected football matches in every round and earn as many points as possible.

Join
An active Poolbaas account joins Top 10 when the player registers or saves their first prediction.
Poolbaas normally selects ten matches per round. Only matches published as eligible for points count towards the leaderboard.

Predictions and deadlines
- Predict the full-time score using whole numbers of zero or higher.
- You can change a prediction until its deadline.
- The deadline shown by Poolbaas for the match is definitive.
- After the deadline, the server blocks all changes.
- An unsaved or late prediction earns no points.
Always check that Poolbaas confirms your prediction has been saved.

Scoring
- Exacte result: 5 points. This is the maximum; bonuses are not added again on top of this total.
- Correct winner or correct draw: 3 points.
- Exact number of home goals: +1 point.
- Exact number of away goals: +1 point.
- A score bonus can also be earned when the winner or draw is not predicted correctly.
- The total is capped at 5 points.

Leaderboard and tie-breakers
The leaderboard is ordered by:
- highest total points;
- most exact score predictions;
- most predictions that earned points;
- player name in alphabetical order.

Results and corrections
Poolbaas calculates points using the official result recorded in the system. If a result is corrected, the leaderboard may be recalculated.
Postponed, abandoned, incorrectly imported or ineligible matches may be corrected, replaced or excluded from scoring.

Technical issues
The server record is definitive. A local draft score, screenshot or incomplete entry does not count as a saved prediction.
Report a suspected error as soon as possible via admin@poolbaas.nl. The administrator can investigate verifiable system errors using audit records and backups.

Fair play and administrative decisions
Abuse, circumventing deadlines, manipulation and accessing another person's account are not permitted.
The administrator may correct obvious errors and take necessary measures to keep the game fair and technically reliable. In unforeseen situations, the administrator will decide as consistently as possible with these rules.
